EOW 2009, the largest European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition will be hosted September 14 – 16 September 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The 2009 exhibition and conference will examine how the development of offshore wind energy is progressing. In addition it will propose solutions to some of the numerous challenges still facing the industry. The conference program will present practical steps forward for decision makers at EU and national levels. There will be an emphasis on the importance of industrial development, grid integration as well as environmental and administrative considerations.
The conference program featured 23 sessions and numerous side events covering different aspects of offshore wind developments.
With 4,000m2 of stand space, the exhibition at EOW was double the size of the previous events.
Exhibition visitors met over 260 of the key players in offshore wind power from Europe, North America and Asia – the world’s foremost manufacturers, developers, power generators, engineering and construction companies, power generators and utilities.

With all of the 4,000m2 stand space now sold, the exhibition at European Offshore Wind 2009 has doubled in size since the previous event in 2007 and has already sold out.
