Venue facilities

Where can I make photocopies, send an email or fax?
- The Service Centre can be found in Gallery A. It has fax, photocopying and other facilities, including the Stockholm International Fairs' shop.

Is there a cloakroom or 'left luggage' facility at the event?
- Yes. The cloakroom (at which luggage may also be left) is free of charge and is located close to the registration desks. It is open during show hours only.

Is there access for those with limited mobility?
- Yes, the venue is accessible for those with limited mobility. Stockholm International Fairs' restaurants, congress venues and exhibition halls all have ground-level access. All stands will be provided with an access ramp.
Wheelchairs may be borrowed from the information desk at the main entrance for a deposit of SEK100. Wheelchairs cannot be booked in advance.
Disabled toilets are situated near the entrances, in the exhibition halls and in the galleries. A wheelchair accessible lift is situated in Gallery A.

- Yes, there is a cash point in the entrance hall. There are also facilities in the centre of Älvsjö, a five-minute walk from the venue (open weekdays 10:00 – 15:00).

Does my registration fee include lunch?
- All conference and exhibitor staff passes include coffee breaks and lunch, which will be served in the catering area.
Exhibition visitor passes do not include any catering. Nevertheless, there are several restaurants located at Stockholm International Fairs.

How do I register?
- Online registration for European Offshore Wind 2009 (for both the conference and exhibition) is now closed.
Registrations must now be done onsite at Stockholm International Fairs (Stockholmsmässan) from from 13 September 2009 at 14:00. To save time onsite, we recommend that you download and print the onsite registration form and bring it with you to the event.
You can register onsite at the Registration Area at the following times:

Wednesday 16 September 08:00-13:00

What are the registration fees?
- Please go to the registration page and download the onsite registration forms for detailed information on registration fees.

What is included in the registration fee?
- A conference delegate pass includes access to the conference, side events and the exhibition. It also gives the delegate access to lunches and coffee breaks. All conference delegates will be provided with a bag containing event materials on arrival (conference programme, exhibition catalogue, note pad, pen, etc.).
An exhibition visitor pass includes access to the exhibition, but does not include access to the conference sessions, coffee breaks or lunch. All registered visitors will receive an exhibition catalogue on arrival. For exhibition visitors who register onsite, the catalogue is subject to availability.

My company / organisation is not a member of EWEA but it is a member of an association that is a member of EWEA. Does that entitle us to the EWEA member registration discounts?
- No. The membership rate is reserved exclusively for those organisations that are EWEA members and therefore pay a direct membership fee to EWEA. For more information please consult the
members' directory in the membership section of the EWEA website.
However, members of our partner organisation, the Swedish Wind Energy Association are entitled to the membership rate.

If I decide to register onsite, am I guaranteed an entrance ticket or might it be sold out before I arrive?
- Yes, onsite registration for the conference and exhibition is unlimited. To save time onsite, we recommend that you download and print the onsite registration form and bring it with you to the event.

If I am not able to attend is my pass transferable?
- Exhibition visitor passes are non-refundable and non-transferable both before and during the event.
Conference passes cancelled in writing on or before 1 July 2009 will be refunded minus an administrative fee of €75 (including 25% VAT). Cancellations (including conference dinner tickets) received after 1 July 2009 will not be refunded. All refunds will be processed after the event. We do not allow conference delegates to transfer passes during the event. However, we can reissue the pass in a different name (free of charge) as long as we are notified in writing before 31 August 2009. Any name changes after this date will not be accepted.

Are there parking facilities at the venue? Is there a parking fee?
- Tickets can be bought at Stockholm International Fairs' Service Centre on the 1st floor of the entrance hall:
- 3-day: SEK170
- 1-day: SEK70
- per hour: SEK25
A change machine for parking can be found at the main entrance. These fees relate to both exhibitor car park and lorry park.

How can I book a hotel?
- We have secured rooms at excellent rates for European Offshore Wind 2009 Conference and Exhibition delegates.

How/When do I get my badge and conference materials?
- All participants will be provided with a badge upon arrival, which must be worn at all times whilst in the venue. You may also be required to show your badge at the social events. Conference delegates will not be allowed into session rooms without their badge.
All registered participants will receive a bag containing event materials on arrival.
Onsite registration will commence on Sunday 13 September from 14:00-19:00 and then continue from 08:00-18:00 on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 September, and from 8:00-12:30 on Wednesday 16 September.

I am a speaker, moderator or poster presenter; do I still need to register?
- Yes. All speakers, chairs, moderators and poster presenters should be registered as a conference delegate for at least one day of the conference. Unless you have been told otherwise by EWEA, you must pay and register by 15 June 2009 in order to secure your presentation slot.

In which language will the sessions be held?
- The language of the event will be English and no interpretation will be provided.

How do I obtain a copy of the proceedings?
- The conference proceedings with full access to all relevant information (presentations, papers, photos, videos and statistics) will be sent to all delegates by email following the event. They are also freely available to EWEA members upon request.
For non-delegates and non-EWEA members, the proceedings will be available for €50. An order form, which should be completed and returned to EWEA by fax will be available on the website following the event.

What is the difference between a 'full service' stand and a 'space-only' stand?
- 'Full service' stands have back and side walls, carpeting, company name, electric point, daily cleaning service, two chairs and one table per 9m2.
'Space-only' stands are simply the allocation of a certain number of square metres, i.e. no walls or any other services are included.

As an exhibitor do I need to register my stand personnel?
- Each 9m2 booked entitles exhibitors to one free exhibitor staff pass for the three days.
Any extra passes must be applied for on the relevant online form available in the Exhibitor Manual and returned to Colloquium Brussels. These passes will be available at the registration desk as from 14.00 on Sunday 13 September 2009.

Is sharing space allowed?
- Yes. Co-exhibitors, who are not EWEA members, must pay the non-member rate for the area used. Co-exhibitors exhibiting as part of a regional or national association pavilion are entitled to EWEA member rates. For a definition of a pavilion, please see the
